We're a digital product design company based in Shoreditch. We work with our clients to understand their markets and goals. We know the digital terrain; we help define the mission. We create beautiful interfaces. We move quickly. We care.
We're your digital partners.
SweetSpot have used Penrose as their digital partners for over two years as they grow their premium student housing business.
We helped SweetSpot streamline their business by creating a system that allows prospective tenants to complete the application process online. We also designed the public facing SweetSpot property portfolio website and viewing booking system, and we created a mobile app for SweetSpot’s local property managers, which allows them to access all the student application information for their properties while they are on-site, on their phone or tablet computer.Visit the site
Shoreditch Works run spaces for makers, creators and startups in the heart of London’s Tech City.
Originally set up in 2011 as a Penrose side project, Shoreditch Works was designed to provide a flexible and affordable working environment for young companies while still offering the community and sense of ownership that comes from people having a workspace to call their own.
We developed the Shoreditch Works brand, and designed and built the Shoreditch Works website. We also also provide ongoing social media strategy to help build a wider community for Shoreditch Works, ensuring that when startups grow and move on to other locations, new startups are ready to move in and benefit from Shoreditch Works’s ecosystem of information and skills.Visit the site

Working with leading mental health treatment centre, the Anna Freud Centre, we redesigned the AMBIT online practice manual to make it easier to use and possible for different centres to share knowledge and best practices, to better assist practitioners as provide help and support to troubled young people.
The project won the 2012 Guardian/Virgin Media Innovation Nation Award for the most innovative use of collaboration technology.Visit the site
We worked with design company Intro to create the EVO project website and an online application enabling simulations and data analysis for flooding and pollution scenarios across the UK. Building on the EVO project scientists’ simulation tools, we created a usable interface which allow the simulations to be run easily and organises the results clearly to aid learning.Visit the site
